Culture of Introduction

Introduction

Hello, what's up everybody...
Howaryahhh???
I hope u stay healthy and don't forget to stay at home:")

S0OO0Ooo......
Today in this blog I just want to share you a little bit experience about my culture,

Okay, let's scroll down!!!

So, first of all, I just want to tell you that I'm from Manggarai, Flores NTT. My mother from Manggarai Barat and my Father from Manggarai Timur. Basically, both of them have own culture, but it's a little bit similar and for the languages too.

How about an introduction?¿
Of Course, they have the same ways to introduce themselves
or introduce someone to another person, it's the same as ways to introduce yourself with formal Indonesian culture. So, before you introduce your name you must do you're handshaking, but do you're handshaking not too much. Next step, just introduce you're name, job, school, and another thing, if you try to introduce your self to people or person that have a relationship with you're family but you don't know who they are for specifically you must tell your fam's too or tell you're parents name or you're grandparents name. For handshaking, people who have the lowest position must introduce themselves first, and for the younger to the older too. If you go to a traditional party or family gathering you have to introduce your self to people in there one by one for personal but, if it's impossible to do just do your handshaking and introduce your name. In traditional party people in Manggarai have a traditional dance too called "Caci", that's for welcoming dance.

And then the proposing event men must bring something like "Tuak ", white rooster, or maybe a pig for his first introduction to the big family.

I think that's all from me thank You.
